Beachwood offers Bunk Beds with a Fixed Ladder in two classic variations: Limed Ash and Painted White, making them suitable for children's and small guest rooms. These hardwood bunk beds are built to last a lifetime, with ample headroom for the lower bunk and a fixed ladder for easy access. They are designed to accommodate a trundle, providing extra sleeping space suitable for growing children or adult guests.

Care Instructions
Our solid timber furniture is a natural product that is handmade, one piece at a time. Each piece will have unique characteristics including grain and colour. As with all solid timber furniture, surfaces may expand and contract due to varying temperature conditions and the environment that you place them in. To minimise unintended movement in the timber, your furniture should not be placed outside, near fireplaces, in direct sunlight, or in heavily air-conditioned areas. Use floor protectors on the bottom of furniture to minimise damage to floor coverings. For cleaning, wipe down with a damp cloth.

    What sizes are available
    We generally stock Single and King Single bunks with a fixed ladder and removable ladder, in both Limed Ash and Painted White. Other sizes — including Double, Queen, or mixed configurations — can be custom made to order.

    Can I customise my bunk bed?
    Yes – we can tailor the size, timber stain, and even design a custom bunk to suit your space.

    Can you make a King Single on top and a Queen below?
    Yes, we can! This would be made to order as a custom piece.

    Can you make a loft bed with space underneath for a desk?
    Absolutely. We can create a loft bed with nothing underneath, perfect for adding a desk or extra space.

    Can the bunk beds be separated into two individual beds?
    Our standard bunk beds are fully joined for strength and safety, so they’re not designed to be separated. However, we have done this as a custom option before — let us know what you need.

    Can you make a bunk bed from scratch to suit my room?
    Yes, we specialise in custom builds – whether it’s storage drawers, a layout, or a unique bunk bed design. We’ve created many variations of bunk beds.

    All our bunk beds are solid timber. Frames, posts, and rails are American Ash. Bed slats are solid pine.
