French Elegance

The aim was to create a French-inspired, classic interior with a contemporary edge, while staying true to the heritage nature of the home. I wanted to be sympathetic to the beautiful existing elements — from the old Belgian stone pavers and character-filled fireplaces, to the French antique mirrors and select vintage furniture pieces already in place.

The interior was refreshed with carefully chosen paint colours and an abundance of mirrors, used to draw light in from every angle. Every room was thoughtfully considered, but the most dramatic transformations were the rumpus and billiard room, where I designed a custom bar wall unit, along with the sunroom and the grand children’s bedroom.
